This seminar is designed to equip Managing Agents (MAs) and Facility Managers (FMs) with basic competencies in structural and façade inspections.

The course, Differentiating and Enhancing Managers' Skillsets: A Practical Approach to Building Defects and Pre-emptive Maintenance which is organised and conducted by BCA, is compulsory for managing agent practitioners who are registered [i.e. CPFM(R)], or seeking to be registered, under the Accredited Managing Agent Scheme recognised by BCA-APFM. Additionally, it benefits and are compulsory too for MA’s who are currently practising or intend to become a managing agent practitioner.

 

This will be the 3rd run by BCA on Thursday, 7 May 2026, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM via Zoom. Please note this is the last round complimentary session and future runs of this will be chargeable.

 

For those who have already completed Module 3, they must attend the course within 3 years as part of their 8 hours per year of CPD (Continuous Professional Development) required for accreditation.

 

APFM will be awarding 4 CPD hours for the course.
